M\u00e4rz 2019die  Flamme der Atombombe von Hiroshima an unseren Heiligen Vater, Papst Franziskus.\n\n Begleitet wurde die Reise vom Gr\u00fcnder der Earth Caravan, dem buddhistischen Priester Ryoyku Endo und Mrs. Setsuko Thurlow, \u00dcberlebende der Atombombe von Hiroshima. Die Flamme von Hiroshima ist ein Feuer aus den Tr\u00fcmmern der Atombombe, die am 6. August 1945 Hiroshima zerst\u00f6rte. He is expected to visit Nagasaki, Japan later in the year to solidify his commitment to a nuclear weapons-free world. The Vatican was one of the first countries to ratify the <a href=\"https:\/\/treaties.un.org\/doc\/Treaties\/2017\/07\/20170707%2003-42%20PM\/Ch_XXVI_9.pdf\">Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW)<\/a> adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in July 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Als 13 j\u00e4hriges M\u00e4dchen musste Mrs. Setsuko Thurlow miterleben, wie die Atombombe \u00fcber Hiroshima 300 ihrer Schulkameradinnen und ihre gesamte Familie ausl\u00f6schte. Setsuko sprach vor den Vereinten Nationen \u00fcber die Notwendigkeit einer friedvollen Zukunft ohne Massenvernichtungswaffen. Ihre Botschaft an die n\u00e4chste Generation lautet: \u201eGebt nicht auf! Seht ihr das Licht in den Tr\u00fcmmern? Ein sehr bedeutungsvolles Zusammentreffen der Generationen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Hiroshima Flamme brennt seit dem Abwurf der Atombombe \u00fcber Hiroshima am 6. August 1945. Sie ist jetzt Teil der Flame of Hope, dem internationalen Symbol der Hoffnung aller Menschen f\u00fcr Frieden.
